Its defiantly time to prepare for Autumn. I'm currently loving the colours and the design of Bedlinen and soft furnishings from new Melbourne label Kip & Co. For Kip & Co its all about creating bright, beautiful bedding that brings a new energy to the home which is evident by viewing the picture above. The new range, AW13 Fruit Salad, includes adult and kids bed linen, cushions and blankets in bold prints and colours. All of our prints are designed in Melbourne and printed in India.

‘Necklace / Houseplant’ by Beci Orpin and Kat Macleod for their joint show, A Hidden Place, opening in Melbourne tonight.

I wish I could have gone to the opening night of A Hidden Place but unfortunately I had to work. Over the last couple of days I have seen some sneak pictures of some of the works from the show. The show consists of collaborative works from Kat Macleod who is known for her painterly very feminine style. Whilst Beci Orphin work uses symmetry and geometry with a bright bold colour palatte. What a beautiful collaboration.Below is all the details of A Hidden Place and the duration of the show.

Ricardo Fumanal

Fumanal’s artistic training began at the Lleida Secondary School of Arts, where he specialised in graphic and advertising design. He later moved to Barcelona, where he worked as a graphic designer while extending his studies in printing techniques and illustration. After collaborating with a number of studios and art directors, he focused on producing illustrations in varying media and formats. These include work for www.elmundo.es or magazines such as Dazed&Confused, British GQ Style, Vogue Hommes Japan, Madame Figaro, Hercules, L’Officiel Hommes Italia, Apartamento, Wallpaper*, Nylon Guys, and a great many covers for literary review Leer .Ricardo Fumanal’s interests range from photography for fashion and advertising to the Fine Arts which show in his illustration work picture.

I cant help myself at the moment.I'm a bit obsessed with collections of objects.It could be the cute groupings of all these tiny objects or the fact that they are coloured and grouped ahhh so nice and visually pleasing to the eye !!!

 Copenhagen-based design agency Dyhr.Hagen. We had the pleasure of designing pages for FAT MAGAZINE Issue 2, based on the keyword "Re-Invention." Typography is designed with flowers.
